Rule Britannia!

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,

This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,

This other Eden, demi-paradise,

This fortress built by Nature for herself

Against infection and the hand of war,

This happy breed of men, this little world,

This precious stone set in the silver sea,

Which serves it in the office of a wall

Or as a moat defensive to a house,

Against the envy of less happier lands,-

This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.

I’ve been to England twice and just adore the place. The beautiful, peaceful countryside, the inspiring cathedrals, Westminster Palace, the Thames, the Tower, the British Museum, English theater, Canterbury, and on and on… When I was there both times I had the strangest sensation I was home.

There are, however, at least three things about England that are depressingly bad: the weather, the food, and the royal family (oh, and they drive on the wrong side of the road).

While I loved sight seeing in London and the rest of the country, there was on major distraction: the beautiful, sexy women. They are everywhere. Just as you are about to gaze at the tomb of Shakespeare in Westminster Abbey your eye catches a comely, uniformed guide. You never get around to enjoying those big black crows at the Tower when a woman in a very short skirt strides by. Really, they should pass a law banning gorgeous women from appearing on the street between nine and five each day.

To save you the trouble of flying to England and spending thousands of pounds in a vain effort to see the sights, I’ve put together the fortieth the Magic of Women gallery of sexy women from England:

RULE BRITANNIA! Links to all of the Magic of Women galleries are HERE. Only Flickr members with safe search off can see the following photos. Join Flickr here.

a few photos too inbred for the gallery: Egbert, Alfred the Great, Canute, Stephen, Richard (the Lionheart), Henry I, Edward IV, Henry VIII, James I, George III.
